Located in a seafront heritage area of Dún Laoghaire, overlooking unique panoramic views of the Dublin coastline, Haddington House is a five floor Victorian terraced building. Amazing place, it gives you a totally different feeling of Dublin than the hotels in the centre of the city. The sea is beautiful and the surroundings are calm and nice. The only disturbance is by the train track that is close to the hotel, but it is a minor thing. The staff are kind and the food, especially breakfast, is a wonderful experience. The interior is gorgeous. I recommend a walk to the pier and the ice cream they sell there.

Rochestown Lodge Hotel and Leisure centre is a 3-star hotel located in Dun Laoghaire, just a short distance from Dublin City Centre and has easy access to the M50 motorway. The stay was altogether very pleasant, the rooms&bathroom were very clean and spatious. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary use of pool and spa facilities. The breakfast was delicious, very good range of choice and the at-table waiting was a pleasant surprise. The staff was super kind and accommodating, both the service and at the reception. The location is great for how close it is for various trips to Dublin and around, yet a bit away from all the busy city noise. The parking is also very nice with the option of an underground garage.

The Fitzpatrick Castle Dublin Hotel overlooks Dublin Bay and is a 20-minute drive from Dublin. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, a pool and 2 award winning restaurants. Beautiful hotel in a lovely setting, staff were very attentive and facilities were very good.

On the edge of Dublin’s centre, this hotel features fitness facilities and rooms with free WiFi. It offers an AA Rosette restaurant, and University College Dublin is just 10 minutes’ drive away. The staff was very helpfull, kind and polite. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was tasty.

The Royal Marine overlooks Dublin Bay and has direct access to Dun Laoghaire Promenade and Pier. It boasts a health club, spa, indoor pool and air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Beautiful historic hotel. We had a lovely sea view. Great location and very comfortable room. Would highly recommend

The Clayton Hotel, Leopardstwon is a modern, informal hotel, just off the M50 and N11 on the N31 Leopardstown road. Location is prime! Easy to get to from the airport, close to Dún Laoghaire, Bray and Wicklow. Staff fantastic. Just like any indoor carparks,ind the lines for the larger vehicles!

This family run guest house is located in fashionable Rathgar, less than 3 km from St Stephen’s Green in the city centre. Is reasonable price n quite near to airport. The host very friendly and helpful.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Luxurious 2 bedroom apartment with sea view in Monkstown offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The apartment location was great with a good view of the sea. The unit was well appointed and tastefully decorated. The host had left some wine and chocolate for us. The location was close to the train station making it easy to travel to Dublin and the town of MONKSTOWN was but a 10 minute walk away.
